Capitol Hill Friends is a Christian community in the Quaker tradition, gathering from across the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. We welcome you to come and join us for dinner, fellowship, singing and worship. No matter where you are at in your journey, there is room for you at Christ’s table. We seek to welcome with open arms all of God’s children – black and white, rich and poor, recent immigrants and longtime residents, gay and straight, women and men, young, old and in-between.
When and Where?

We gather together every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month, from 6:00-8:30pm. We meet at the William Penn House, located at 515 E Capitol St SE, in Washington, DC.
What do you do at Capitol Hill Friends?
On Sundays (except for the first Sunday of the month), our time together goes something like this:
6:00-6:45 – Dinner
6:45-7:30 – Scripture reading and singing
7:30-8:30 (or so) – Waiting Worship (Click here for more information on our way of worship.)
You are welcome to attend any portion of our time together. We encourage you to join us for the full evening.
